Intelligent Transportation Systems use technology to make travel safer and more efficient while at the same time the number of people and vehicles using our transportation systems increases. Turnkey Technology Corp is at the forefront of the technologies in use today as well as emerging technologies that will play a major part in the future.

	We are home to the two lead designers of the Maryland CHART II system, a statewide distributed traffic management system. This system is highly regarded within the industry and the system is frequently used as a showcase for transportation agencies across the US.
	We designed and built an innovative passenger information system which features a web based user interface and text-to-speech technology to deliver up-to-date commuter service information to awaiting passengers.
	We have experience with Automated Vehicle Location from its use on snow plows to its use on trains. We currently offer our own Vehicle tracking solution, VehTrak, which is a low cost way to track vehicles using cell phones.
	We have experience with many kinds of ITS roadside devices, including dynamic message signs, highway advisory radio, CCTV, and detectors. We also have experience communicating with these devices in many different ways, including RS232, RS422, modems, and wireless. We are also home to the designers of the fault tolerant distributed system used by the Maryland CHART System to generically communicate with hundreds of different roadside devices.
